90 for 90 Wild Florida Challenge 

Now thru December 31, 2026

To celebrate 90 years of conservation, the Florida Wildlife Federation is encouraging people to participate in outdoor activities and track their progress. The “90 for 90 Wild Florida Challenge” invites people to connect with Florida’s nature by completing either 90 miles of land-based recreation, 90 hours of water-based recreation, or recording 90 wildlife species. Or complete all three challenges! These activities do not need to be completed in one day, but must be completed before December 31 of this year. After reporting your activity log, you can enter a drawing to win one of three $100 gift cards. Or, if you complete all three challenges, you can enter a drawing to win a grand prize valued at $1,000. This is an excellent opportunity to get outside and possibly win something! Lake Louisa State Park Gardening

Come to work at the Lake Louisa State Park Ranger Station Garden on Saturday.  Learn about native plants, enjoy the weather, plants, and other volunteers, and feel good about doing something to help the community! 

Wear closed-toe shoes, bring a hat, gardening tools, and water.  Tell the ranger at the entry you are working in the garden so you don't have to pay an entry fee.

Participate in Plant Rescues 

Become a Plant Warrior - it's a great way to make a difference and learn more about our local plants and habitats! Our rescue group goes out on Thursday mornings to locations in and around Clermont.
