Meetings

Meetings and Activities

Passionflower Chapter members meet monthly except during the heat of the summer (July and August) and in December when we have a holiday party. All Passionflower meetings and activities are free and open to the public.

Our educational program meetings feature guest speakers who give presentations on a variety of topics, including landscaping, attracting wildlife, native plant knowledge, and conservation issues. Program meetings generally alternate between the 2nd Saturday morning and 2nd Wednesday evening of the month. Saturday programs start at 10:00am, but come at 9:30 for refreshments and socializing.  Wednesday programs start at 6:00pm (5:30 for refreshments and socializing).

We also meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to discuss chapter business and plan programs and other activities.

Field trips to interesting natural and landscaped areas are generally scheduled on Saturdays or Sundays and are a fun way to enjoy the outdoors while learning about native plants and natural communities.

Gardening days, plant rescues, and other work days are scheduled intermittently.

Check the calendar to confirm meeting dates, activities, program topics, and location.

Meeting Location

During COVID we are hosting programs and meetings on Zoom.  Most in-person program meetings are held at the Cooper Memorial Library in Clermont, FL.
